Last bottle. Each year has a different taste. 2013: Dark-ruby color. Aroma: malt, caramel, fruit and winy. Powerfull taste: strong wine (like a porto), malt, caramel, some roasty bread. Very warming, some barleywine notes.

Bottled thx to a friend. Clear redbrown color, short off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, hint of licorice. Sweet raisiny taste, licorice, bit bitter. Strange stuff. A porter that is a doppelbock? It does taste more like a doppelbock ok.

500ml Bottle - Brown/red in colour. Malty and grainy aroma with raisins, caramel and syrup. Sweet taste with raisins, toffee and malt. It has a slightly strange finish, although it’s still drinkable. Disappointing and very light in colour for a porter.

Bottled 8.0% Deep amber-brown, small beige head. Caramel, alcohol and papery hops. Quite sweet, malty, grassy hops, caramel. Very much like German doppelbock. Toffeish palate. I kind of like this.
