Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a dry bready finish. Thanks Storm for sharing.

33cl bottle purchased at restaurant boheme, rethymno, to take away. dark brown, large thick smooth light brown head. really nice head on this one. nutty, roasted malts aroma, also faint smoked stuff, chocolate, coffee powder. palate is a little too watery. flavor is quite flavourfull for a 5%, roasted grains, chocolate, faint charchoal, dry and mild. ends on the charchoal and roasted side. this is good by any country’s micro standards, well done greece.

Scored a bottle of this while in Rhodes. I love schwarzbiers and this was a pretty good one. Pours a translucent black (surprise) with a thin white head. Aroma is a little absent though, some light toast, maybe a little faint coffee, a touch nutty. Flavor was nice though, nutty, malty, bready, crackers, biscuits and a little bit of toast. Not much hop presence to speak of. Finish was dry and crisp. I enjoyed this quite a bit.

One of the six beers that Craft produces (Craft is a fine Microbrewery that also has 2 Brewpub Restaurants in Athens). Very good schwarzbier, the best that craft makes. Brown shallow head. Full taste with chocolate, smoke, coffee and roasted malt as dominant flavors and aromas. A great beer that I love to consume on a regular basis. The tap version is way better than the bottle.
