Bottle. Deep amber coloured, small and quite stable beige layer. Toasted-malty nose powdered with cacao on one side, lemony-wheaty influences on the second side. Moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied. A bit drier, a bit tart in the lemony-chocolatey finish. A decent Dunkelweizen..............

(bottle) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a big tanned foamy head. Yeasty, light-sweet, slightly fruity and wheaty note with toasted malt and a touch of caramel. Bitter and light-acidic flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Toasty, moderately wheaty taste with caramel and a soft sourish fruity note; yeasty and bitter finish with clovy notes. Could be better rounded.

Bottle from Landbierparadies, Nurnberg. Dark wheat beer with a powerful, tan head. Typical wheat beer aroma of bubble gum, and flavours of bananas and cloves, with a yeasty finish. A fairly standard effort.

Huge, beige-foxy head, very fine & dense above reddish-chestnut beer, leaving curtains of crude lace. Wheat, wheat acidity, ripe banana, and quite some malts - as well as CO² smell. Fruity, estery, dry - bit of cloves though not very many - but generally quite neutral, with a little acidity that seems more pH value than taste. Some arachide flavour, partly hidden by the malts themselves. Medium bodied at best, quite slick, nearly creamy texture. OK Dunkelweizen.
