330 ml bottle. Bright golden, decent head. Floral, grainy, hoppy, metallic and citric aroma. Crispy bitterness. Light bodied, nicely carbonated. Bitter-metallic finish. Nice bavarian Pils.

Bottle @ Camping Piantelle, Lago de Garda. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, grain. Light sweetness, little hay. Flavor is sweet, malt, grainy, little sugar, hay. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish. 210717

Mild herberm sehr getreidiger Antrunk. Dabei überrascht die weitestgehend nicht vorhandene Bitterkeit, helles Malz, harmonisch. Der Hopfen ist nebensächlich, die Bitterkeit bleibt gering. Gut. 7/9/10/9/9/10

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly grainy malty nose with mildly herbal and slightly peppery hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Initially slightly grainy and strawy malty taste with present herbal hops; bitter and mildly sweet malty finish with a slightly salty note. Tolerable Pils. 21.X.15

Klare goldgelbe Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig, hopfig, leicht würzig. Geschmack würzig malzig, grasig hopfig, ordentlich gehopft, gutes Pils!

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Light hoppy background. Finish a bit metallically. Okay.

18th jan 2014 and I’m now in the Bavarian area of Berlin’s International Green Week: I’m thirsty again and notice a bar advertising Maxlrainer Edle Biers. I order a half litre of Pilsner which is on tap and find a seat to rest on. Light golden, clear and bright, everything a German Pilsner should be. The snowy white head didn’t hang around, again just like most German Pilsners. The beer was crisp but almost odourless, gets my standard 3 for aroma. Dry, hoppy and slightly floral in nature but nothing to put it above or below the regular Pilsners / Lagers of so many places in the world. It refreshed my palate and I moved onto Saxony where more beers awaited me.

RB Odense Early Summer Fun. Yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma of malt, a hint of fruit, a grassy hint and some DMS. Sweetish malty and fruity flavour with grassy and spicy hops and a decent bitter finish

Bottle @ Odense Tasting June 2013. Pours clear pale piss yellow with a frothy white head. Grass, grain and DMS. Short , bitter and grainy finish.

Bottle. Clear gold with a large frothy head. Aroma is mineral hop. Flavour is earthy with a clean bitterness throughout. Finish is dry bitter
