Taste: Very full-bodied and powerful. The initial alder smoke flavor is balanced by sweet chocolate, nuts, and dark toffee. The finish reveals a pleasant warmth of alcohol, leaving a gently spicy glow in the mouth.
Appearance: A dark brown beer with a small but well-retaining brown head.
Nose: Delicately smoky, sweetly chocolatey, with a hint of tobacco. In the background, a slightly tart coffee note can also be detected.
Malts: Pilsner, Red active, Rye malt, Caramel 150, Caramel 300, Chocolate wheat, Carafa special T-3
Hops: Azacca

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Yellow session), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has tons of smoked whiskey barrels, wood, and medium roast. Flavour is much the same, with intense smoky whiskey barrels, medium roast, smoked meat, and wood. Lots of smoke and whiskey. Excellent.

Smoky and peat bomb. Quite sweet abd roasty at the same time. Not for me.

On tap at MBCC 2025, yellow session. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Dry roasted malts and bread crusts on the nose. Flavour has dry roasted malts, molasses, burnt sugar, bourbon barrels. Very nice.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, toffee, smoked wood, elderberry, vanilla, taste is sweet, berries, jam, meaty, chocolate, smoky. Excellent. 8/9/9/9/9

Smoky, woody and stingy with some sweet oakiness, chocolate, roastiness and syrup. Quite intense and heavy with the woody notes. Unbalanced and a bit messy

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours pitch black with a modest, tanned head. Roasty aroma with notes of whisky, mild smoky notes and hints of wood chocolate and dark fruits. Sweet, smooth, flavourful and complex with warming alcohol and a rather pleasant bitterness. Quite enjoyable.
