Semi-Hot with an added teaspoon of honey. Smell-medium strong to strong, buckthorn, honey (duh), spice, herbal and more buckthorn. (Note, I like buckthorn) Foam- large when pouring in, orange-white color, buckthorn-ish. Appearance- generic black bottle cap, expensive-looking label, I will give a bonus for it once and only this time. Hazy, orange color. From - snifter served hot. Taste - buckthorn, weak sourness, weak honey. Was expecting this to be way sourer, but I actually enjoy this. Very buck-thorny and I believe with other additions suggested and server hot it works as a mulled wine. Nice try. Bit different category than other, beers, but fairly enjoyable.
