Aroma is slight chocolate and banana slightest mushroom. Not much aroma. Taste is yeasty and slightly sour buttery berries with much yeasty aftertaste. A bit watery. Could be better.

On Tap at the brewbub. Leicht trübes orange braunes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Nelke, hefig, Gewürze. Geschmack nach dunklen Früchten, viel Gewürznelken, nett.

(Keg at the brewpub, 20130513) The beer poured reddish brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had clove, banana and caramell. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were banana, clove, caramell, hint of grass and lowish bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. Decent dunkelweizen.

Tap at the Weissbrauhaus, Regensburg - 25/11/11. Hazy orange amber colour with a medium off-white creamy head. Smells of banana, cloves, malt. Tastes as nose. Medium body, little carbonation, smooth finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Murky pale amber coloured, small off-white head, light caramel in the nose. Moderate sweet malty, yeasty and caramel with mild banana notes. Pretty short sweetish finish.
