Bottle at home by the fire, after early Christmas dinner with Christy and the family, 10th December 23. Pours clear golden, with a firm, white, frothy head. Aroma is fresh grass, aromatic, mellow. Taste is bitter, straw, mellow, fresh grass, hay, aromatic, nicely hopped, refreshing Pilsner, great to drink.

Tap at HopDog. Clear golden. Summer hay, fruity. Taste is soft, crisp, light. Decent beer.

Pours a clean golden colour, with a medium sized slightly frothy white head that shows nice retention throughout the last sips and very nice lacing. Quite good intensity in the aroma: a cerealy malty base with hints of hay, honey notes, a pretty vivid grassy character and a slightly prickly lemony note. While the smell suggested a vivid hoppy character, the taste was sweeter than expected. Notes as per aroma but the balance is slightly towards sweetness in the taste, with a bitter edge in a pretty dry finish. Slightly unclean/unrefined finish. Quite light bodied with low to medium carbonation, very easygoing as expected.

--Keg at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm. -- Clear pale golden, rich firm head. Distinct grassy, spicy nose. Dry with light to medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Intense spicy, grassy hops. Very bitter finish. Very hoppy. Very good!

Bottle picked up from Hopdog, München yesterday/Wednesday consumed at home Thursday 9th March 2023. We had Minced Beef Pies. We're listening to Marc Riley on 6Music.. Pours clear gold with a white head.I was a little underwhelmed at first as I detected a dusty hoppiness, however a few minutes later and things opened up, grassy hops, a little citrus, good bite, fruity, dry finish, solid and very more'ish' Pils.

Bottle. Unclear pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is grassy old school hops, peppery and mild biscuity malts. Taste is grassy hops, peppery, crisp and clean, a touch Franconian moreishness. Very bitter and crisp finish. Oily mouthfeel, mineraly, natural soft carbonation. Maybe it's the lovely weather and me sitting on the patio, but this really is an excellent Pils!

Eichhorn Pils, Flasche per Post vom Landbierparadies. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase feine grasige und zitrusfruchtige Herbe über zart vanillesüßem hellen Malz, ein wenig dicklich. - Antrunk frisch aber weich zitronig hopfenherb und schön grasig bitter. Feines helles Malz von deutlicher Süße, leicht süßlich-fruchtig, ein Hauch von Honig. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich. Im Abgang runde grasige und leicht pfeffrige Herbe. - Schönes, aromatisch aber nicht zu stark gehopftes Pilsener süddeutschen Typs, etwas malziger und nicht so schlank. (12.3.2021.)
