13/1/2023. Tap at Hansens Brauerei, Flensburg, Germany. Pours very dark brown with a small frothy light beige head. Aroma is light roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, liquorice, dark fruits, slight coffee and ashy edge. Medium sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Quite decent.

Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, hops, little caramel and has a nice roasty finish.

Tap at brewpub. Dark brown colour, steady beige head. Neutral sweetish toasted nose. Light-bodied. Toastyness, hints of licorice, low on hops. Quite neutral.

Tap at the brewery almost black colour with small head.Aroma is roasted and malty hint of pepper and caramel nice sweet finish easy to drik beer.

0.4 litre glass at the brewery on 28th Oct 2018. Lovely dark brown body, slight ruby hue to it, on top a smooth tanned blanket of foam. Malty little number all round really, not a lot happening in the hop department with the malty molasses taking complete control. Must be some hops about though because the sweetness doesn't run riot and even calms down mid sip. Liked this.

On tap at the brewpub. Dunkel orange braunes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, etwas Kaffee. Geschmack sehr karamellig, süß malzig, schokoladig, lecker.

Draught @Brewpub. Dark brown colored beer with a brown head. Roasted malt, hops, hint of chocolate in aroma. Flavor has chocolate, hops, roastedness, tobacco notes. Long slightly sweet finish. Great stuff. Could drink this all day.
