On tap at Farmhouse Tap and Grill.
This was poured into a long stemmed taster.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to yellow color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Messy thin lacing.
The aroma starts off with some sweet citrus rind and pulp bursting over some grapefruit rind and juiciness. Light mango as it warms.
The flavor takes the juiciness of the grapefruit and the citrus and hits at the pulpy sweetness very nicely. Lingering bittersweet juicy aftertaste rides into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation feels fairly low. Nice crisp gripping bittersweetness hitting my tongue.
Overall, for an APA, it’s a bit abrasive almost leaning towards the AIPA, but hey this is actually very good as I know I would come back to.
