California Common Lager. A style that emerged in the late 19th century in California, Commons are a truly American style of lager characterized by flavors of toasted/caramel malts, medium bitterness, and aromas of wood or earth. This style is fermented with lager strains capable of fermenting at higher temperatures than typical lager yeast. Common Sense has a present malt body but finishes crisp and dry.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty. Slight caramelish to breadish. Mild fruity. Toasted malty. Medium dry. Light botterness into the finish.
