In collaboration with Right Proper Brewing, Washington, D.C., we've created a farmhouse inspired beer that honors the Eastern Shore’s greatest bounty. Brewed with spelt, rye, wheat, and oats the brewers incorporated 115lbs. of oyster shells in the process. The idea was to use the shells to achieve the minerality that is traditional of classic saisons. Mango, Lime, Gooseberry, and cut grass aromatics from New-World hops Galaxy & Nelson Sauvin combined with the bone-dry finish of this old-world style lend a flavor reminiscent of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
Special thanks to our partners at Henlopen City Oyster House in Rehoboth Beach, DE for providing the oyster shells.

Cloudy gold with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. Grainy, yeasty and a bit musty with faint perfume and sweetish golden fruit. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied.
