Kirkas, punertavanruskea, oikeastaan rubiininpunainen olut vaahtoaa kohtalaisesti. Tuoksu vahvasti esanssisen, jopa liian makean maitosuklainen ja ehkä hieman vaniljainen. Maku samoin suklainen, muttei selvästikään niin vahvasti esillä kuin tuoksussa. Melko vetinen ja hiilihappoinen suutuntuma ja vähän tässä jää fiilis, että joisi suklaa-aromilla vahvistettua kivennäisvettä. Jos ei tämän kevään uutuus, VASP:in Pääsiäisportteri ollut kovinkaan edustava tuotos, niin ei tämä vanhempi pikkuveljensäkään liian kovia ylisanoja kerää.

Flaske 500ml fra Kilpishalli. Drukket i Skibotn 31 Mar 15. Veldig mørk rødbrun. Raskt utflatende skum. Blir fort lik cola. Aroma av melkesjokolade. Smaken litt vassen. Sjokolade & marsipan. Litt snodig - men gir påskestemning!

500ml bottle kindly brought from Kilpis by djoeye. Clear dark brown body, topped by a noisy, rocky, fawn-coloured head, mostly diminishing. Cocoa powder and caramel on the nose, semi-dry. Sweet chocolate and cocoa to the taste buds, and that’s it. Surprisingly diluted stuff. Possible to drink in smaller amounts (Tromsø 01.04.2015).

A dark brown beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma has dryness of sour bread, sweet milk chocolate. Taste has chocolate with notes of esanse, sweetness, some bread. Quite ligt bodied, soda like palate. Artificial cholate that’s bothering and without that feature this would be more tasteful. Chocolatebread.

Appearance: Clear dark brown color with a fine big off white head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Mild malty and some chocolate.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Dominating chocolate. Caramel malty and mild fruity.
Overall impression: Tasty mild evening sipper.

Draught at Viisi Penniä, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, spices, cocoa and malts. Thin and watery.

Aroma is sweet with lots of chocolate essences, some malty notes and sugar. Flavour feels rather artifical with lots of chocolate essences, some milk chocolate, raisins, sugary notes and hints of metal. Reminds me of Sinebrychoff Pääsiäisolut IV B – and also it feels like some chocolate candy I find hard to identify.
I find it strange how these so clearly artifical aromas do not disturb me that much...
