From tap at Thornbridge, 's Hertogenbosch. Aroma is creamy dark malt with fruity and piney hops, dark fruits, blackcurrant, chocolate, grapefruit, orange, pine. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Body is above medium. Pretty rich and unique Black IPA, interesting.

44 cl can @ home. Canned 06.10.2021, BBE 06.10.2022. Rated on 02.02.2022 Aroma has tropical fruits, fruit juice and mild licorice. Also nettles and dill. Flavour has dill, nettles, some grapefruit and mild licorice tones. Strong on IPA, low on roastiness. And unfortunately Sorachi Ace comes too much trough.

can. clear brown, smooth brown head. flowery hoppy and roasted malty aroma. a bit more mild than expected. flavor is roasted malty, licorice like note, flowery hops, sweet malty note like a barley wine, roasted sweet malty notes like an imperial stout. The mix is pretty good, about 60% dipa / barley wine 40% imp stout. alc. well hidden.

Cuivre/brune foncée, col blanc-cassé.
Arôme présente de belles effluves houblonnées - pas mal sur les agrumes, rétro malté, grillé et caramel avec une petite pointe de torréfié.
Palais garde une approche anglaise au niveau des malts - grillé, caramel, pâle et de la levure. Sur le houblon, vers un côté NZ et US avec un fini assez sec et des notes fruitées d’agrumes - pamplemousse sur la fin.
