It’s an Imperial version of our Wild Raven, comprising a great body of dark malt complimented with hugely flavoured New Zealand and American hops, this beer is incredibly smooth. It’s a limited one so keep your eyes peeled!

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoljub Ljubljana. Three weeks out of BBE date. Darker brown coloured, medium sized pale beige head, whiff of grapefruit in the nose. Moderate malty, slight roasty, grapefruity hoppy and touch of chocolate with notes of pine and alcohol in the finish. Need to try it fresh but still this one is very good brew.

Piney, resinous, almost a bit sweaty, slightly grassy hoppy and roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of pine needles, cautious hints of dark chocolate. 330ml bottle. Pours black-brown in colour with a foamy beige head leaving lacing. Aroma of zesty citrus hop. Taste is dark roasted malt, sweetish, caramel, and tangy, with woody pine & spicy citric hoppy earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roast bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Near-black red-brown beer, beige head. Light, toasty malt aroma. Tastes of earthy malt, coffee, liquorice. Dry aftertaste. Very good, as expected from the brewer/ style combo. Just a hint too alcohol-y in the aftertaste for me.
