Bottle. It’s a slightly hazy one, brown in color and with a quite small off-white head on top. A bit weak on the aroma maybe, but with pleasant chocolate and coffee, and piney, citrus-peel hops. Some faint notes of alcohol too. It’s dry in the mouth, full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. The flavor has some chocolate and coffee, but the bitterness is the most evident flavor. Bitter finish with both hoppy bitterness and roasted bitterness. A quite nice beer, but I think I’d prefer it with some food instead of drinking it just to drink. 101023

Bottle, 6.0%. Rough aroma, a bit metallic. Cloudy dark amber colour. Tan head. The flavour is OK, there is a good American-tasting hop, but it could use more flavour. A mild version, perhaps a bit cheap, of an American beer style.

Bottled (thanks Papsoe!). Deeprubyish amber colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, zest, grass, some nuts and mild nuttyness. Flavour is earthy, grassy, mouldy as well as fruityness and spices. Easy-to-drink with quite refreshing elements.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear warm amber with a dense and creamy beige head. Lightly nutty nose. Quite full-bodied, notes of caramel and nuts and a somewhat brutal bitterness in the finish, that also contains some alcohol. 270509
