(Keg at Hilpeä Hauki, 20160627) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, liquorice, smoke and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burnt malts, liquorice, dark chocolate, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, hoppy and bitter. A pleasant roasty and hoppy brew.

Keg at Sir William’s, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Black, small head. Licorice and black currant aroma. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded, slightly oily mouthfeel. Licorice, caramel and black currant, notes of chocolate. Long bitter finish.
