It’s an Imperial version of our Wild Raven, comprising a great body of dark malt complimented with hugely flavoured New Zealand and American hops, this beer is incredibly smooth. It’s a limited one so keep your eyes peeled!

330ml bottle from Alko. BBE 02 NOV 17. Pours dark brown with a thick foamy head. Aroma of roasty malts, dill, herbal hops, fruits and citrus. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and fruity with some herbal notes, hints of dill and bubblegum. Finish is hoppy, slightly roasty and fruity with some tropical notes, dill, grass, citrus and hints of bubblegum. Too much Sorachi Ace here.

Black, ruby edges, beige head, good lacing
Aroma of pine hops, dark caramel, hop resins, no dark malts as too cold
Taste of rich dark malts, no chocolate, lots of piney hops, resinous hops, no citrus, not sure about the flavour
Palate - Soft carb, medium to full body, smooth, booze quite well hidden./ Finish of piney hops, slightly floral, bit of poi pourri, soft alcohol, touch of dark malts
Overall - Well made beer, but recipe was different to what I was expecting for a BIPA, no citrus hop or dark chocolate malts in this - disappointed with this - it’s not as good as Raven. Maybe I’ll try it again and re-rate it.

Draught@Taphouse (backlog from CBC16-weekend). Very deep amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is raisins, some toffee, a bit smoked and some slight toasted notes to it. Flavour is floral, wooden, toffeeish, mild toasted notes as well as some alcohol. Slightly much toasted/roasted notes, otherwise ok.
