It’s an Imperial version of our Wild Raven, comprising a great body of dark malt complimented with hugely flavoured New Zealand and American hops, this beer is incredibly smooth. It’s a limited one so keep your eyes peeled!

Keg, Craft Clapham, London, Saturday 4th October 2014. Very dark brown with tiny bubbled film across top, soft mouthfeel. Some pine resin and a little dark treacle but hoppiness wins out, good balance and exceptionally easy drinking for the strength. Really like this. A8 A4 T9 P4 Ov17 4.2

On tap @ Haandfest 2014. This is one of those really deep and dark almost cola colored beers with a really islandy, med sized and lacing top. Roasted nose with coffee and some old chocolate. A little bit of cardboard also detected. Hard to describe what this smells like but its actually not all that bad. A good carbonation level left here in a light oily mouthfeel. It has some chocolaty flavors, and it's definitely well hopped. Biscuits and a lingering vanilla-ish tail. Good stuff. 24.05.2014

Draught (Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden) - Very dark brown in colour. Liquorice, soapy hops and pine in the aroma. Liquorice, roasted malt and soapy hops are noticeable in the taste. Very nice and easy to drink, especially considering the abv.

Keg at the craft brew co holburn. Dark black caramel coloured pour with a lasting light tan Jean. Aroma is floral, crayon, and some dank citrus hop. Flavour is composed of honey suckle sweet caramel and orange peel and touch of resin hop. Palate is lovely.medium sweet with good carbonation. Interesting quite different black IPA. And hides the abv very well.
