It’s an Imperial version of our Wild Raven, comprising a great body of dark malt complimented with hugely flavoured New Zealand and American hops, this beer is incredibly smooth. It’s a limited one so keep your eyes peeled!

Craft Clerkenwell 3rd Birthday Bash. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer with a good pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and light with fine minerally carbonation. Sweetish and smooth dark malts, nice touch of vanilla - oak, where did that come from? Dark malt cream and coffee cream. Touch of dark chocolate. Light hop spice and mellow dark fruits. Soft finish. Delicious! Really well joined up!

Keg at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear, deep brown with a big, thick, tan cream head. The nose holds burnt pine, dark bread, raisins, some cocoa, ripe fruits, dates. Medium sweet flavor with lightly doughy brown bread, chewy dark fruits, nips of chocolate, grapes, figs, soft alcohol. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming to finish, sticky and fairly resinous, with lots of ripe, dark fruis, toasty bread, some grains, background pine, ripe berries. Pretty nice.

Keg at Craft Clerko. It pours darkest brown with a medium light tan head. The nose roasty, chocolate, earth, charcoal, pepper, citrus peel, sherbet, dark fruits and coffee. The taste is bitter, rich roast, cocoa, pepper, grapefruit, toast, liquorice, coffee, some acidity and a touch of alcohol with a dry, roasty finish. Medium, fullsome body and moderate+ carbonation. A big punchy, chewy black IPA. Definitely not a session black Ipa, but works well for me.

On tap at Craft Clerkenwell. 13000 beer. Thank you Thornbridge.black beer . Lasting tan head. Hoppy black ipa type thingy. Good grapefruit hop but then why ruin it with some chocolate malt?. Lovely hop but just not my style.
