On tap at the brewpub.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a dark red close to dark brown sort of color with a light one finger-ed foamy head. Lacing is moderate, semi-light.
The smell started off with some smokey/meaty sort of sweet meat about it. To me, not bad.
The taste was basically the same definitely leaning towards the sweeter/meaty side of the house. And then comes the sweet/meaty sort of aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation rides light and the body is light as well.
Overall, smoked beer, yes, I can see it. Could I have it again? Yeah, possibly.

Tap. Pours clear black, medium creamy tan head, great lacing. Aroma is super light, roasty with a hint of smoke. Flavor is dry, light bitter, faint smoke and roasty malt. Medium light body, creamy. Not a lot going on here, but pleasant enough.
