Opaque black - brown beer. No real head. Slightly herbal nose. Light semi dry and crispy palate. Creamy dark malt backdrop to a very herbs and coca cola flavour! A trace of something nutty. Finishes semi dry. Well this is a full on beer! Drinkable but the herbs are really quite strong.

Bottle, 75cl corked, from trade with Papsoe. It pours a more or less black body, topped by a rim of off-white to beige head. The aroma has dishwashing water and spices, a dash of alcohol and roasted malts, all making this smell more like glögg than beer, but I like it. The flavor is roasted and herbal, cinnamon and cardamom blends in, so does some alcohol, and as the aroma, it’s more of a glögg than beer, and nice. Medium to full body, sort of oily on the palate. Spiced and roasted finish. This is not your typical beer, and I think it would be challenging to finish a bottle on my own, but sharing it with five friends was nice. 110610

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a tan head. Aroma is spices, malt, yeast, cinnamon. Flavour is spices, malt, hop, red wine, herbs, alcohol, cinnamon, sugar, cardemon, dried fruit. Powerful strange beer.

Cloudy brown, small white head. aroma is very spicy cola nuts. flavor is sweet spicy, raisins, licorice, heavy very heavy but unbalanced.

Dark brown with a medium deep beige head. Aroma was sweet and spicy with roasted malt. Perfurmed flavour with roasted malt, caramel and loads of lavendar.

Bottle 50cl.Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy spicy, cinnamon and cardamom, flowers, perfume. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft. [20090527]

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark brown with a reddish hue and a dense beige head. Very spicy and perfumy nose. Full-bodied with sweet fruits, a little hard roasted maltiness and distinct notes of lavender and pine. No bitterness. A very eccentric brew! 291208

Bottled. A black beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong spicy notes of lavender. The flavor is sweet malty with spicy notes of lavender and roated malt. The mouthfeel is very smooth.
