Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy aroma with hints of ryebread. Sweetish malty caramel and ryebread flavor with some roasted hints. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish.

Bottled. Deep amber colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some slight roasted notes as well as some wooden, herbal and also ryebready notes. Flavour is quite much the same in a rather sweet way. Lacks aftertaste.

Bottle, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It’s a murky brown beer almost completely lacking carbonation and head. Slightly sourish on the nose, a bit burnt, yet sweetish, like dried fruits. Caramel, dried fruits and some quite nice sourness in the flavor. Medium body, with some alcohol warmth. The finish is much like the initial flavor, with some bitterness as well. A decent beer, but didn’t ring my bells. (090516)

Bottle 50 cl. Almost opaque dark brown with absolutely no head. Spicy, dark pumpernickel aroma. Quite full-bodied, low in carbonation, tart woody and again pumpernickel - no real bitterness. Interesting. 160509
