Bottle, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It’s a murky brown beer almost completely lacking carbonation and head. Slightly sourish on the nose, a bit burnt, yet sweetish, like dried fruits. Caramel, dried fruits and some quite nice sourness in the flavor. Medium body, with some alcohol warmth. The finish is much like the initial flavor, with some bitterness as well. A decent beer, but didn’t ring my bells. (090516)

Bottle 50 cl. Almost opaque dark brown with absolutely no head. Spicy, dark pumpernickel aroma. Quite full-bodied, low in carbonation, tart woody and again pumpernickel - no real bitterness. Interesting. 160509
