Draft. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, and straw, leading to a nice bitter finish, where a note of lemon appears.

Draught @ Ølfestival Valby - CBF09, Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090516]

On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It’s a crystal clear, golden beer with a minimal white head. Grainy and fruty nose with some citrus peel. Grainy flavor too, with a fine bitterness and citrus peel. Medium, rather dry mouthfeel. Dry finish with good bitterness. Ale meets pilsner. Nice research project, but as a beer to drink it’s not very interesting. (090516)

KØ09. Mild refreshing hop aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Good stable creamy white head. The flavour is mildly spicy in good balance with the bitterness. The bitterness is slightly rough, but clean. Gets too rough for me after a while.

Tap at KBH festival, 2009. Clear golden with a creamy white head. Nose is straw, hay and hops. Medicine/herbal and spicy taste. Very fresh.

Golden beer with a small white head. Aroma dominated by grassy and herbal continental hops, with a little malt, and slightly fruity character. Malty flavour with a solid hop flavour and excellent bitterness.

Draught at visitorcenter, ask for it you cant see its there! Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. moderate malty and light hoppy well balanced aroma. Heavy bitter nice flavor. Moderate bitter average finish. Very dry nice palate. Interresting beer, one of the best Jacobsen so far.

Tap at the visitors centre (leftover from Bogforum). Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are pine, malt, hops and caramel.
