Ne zovimo to povratkom,West coast IPA nikada nije ni otišla!
U počecima američke craft revolucije, 70-ih, rodila se West coast IPA. Spoj klasične IPA recepture i hmelja sa pacifičkog severozapada stvorio je moderan, prepoznatljiv profil – West coast IPA.
A onda su došle 2000-te. Sa istočne obale pojavili su se neki novi igrači, NE IPA i Hazy IPA. Brzo su se popeli na tron, potisnuvši klasičnu IPA u drugi plan.
Ali West coast se ne predaje! Ona je i dalje tu, sa svojom prepoznatljivom svetlom bojom i agresivnom, ali prijatnom gorčinom smole, citrusa i borovog hmelja.
Dok se New England IPA hvali citrusnim i tropskim ukusima, te svojom mutnom izmaglicom i sočnošću, West coast IPA ostaje verna svojim korenima.
Naše novo pivo, Western nostalgia,je naša posveta legendi ,sećanje je na old school, ali sa prepoznatljivim 3bir potpisom. Bistro, aromatično, gorko i snažno pivo.
Pridružite nam se i (ponovo) otkrijte čari West coast IPA. Uživajte u njenoj legendi. Jer neke stvari nikada ne izlaze iz mode.

Can, thx Hrabren! Shared with Ogi (who won't rerate it for the worse) and me. Misty dark amber body, off-white head. Cabbage and resin in the perfumey aroma, bit floral maybe. Lean, dry taste, cabbage infection over some citrus and vague resin. The fuck?! The good thing is that the infection almost covered the alcohol, but there's some warmth in the finish. Tragic, 3/3 3bir beers fucked up this night.

0.5 l can from Zbir Checkpoint, Novi Sad. Shared with Ogi and Marko. Unclear dark golden to amber, small off-white head. Aroma is sour cabbage and some leftover fruity notes. Flavour is sweet candy tropical note with an earthy and sauerkraut touch. Some bitterness. Smooth, juicy, finishes dry.

On tap at the brewery taproom. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, citrusy and light piney nose. Sweet malty, citrusy, light candy and touch of alcohol with rather sweet finish.
