The Stalwart. The closer. The one you can always count on. This is the pint – the one that comes to mind every time someone says, “Fancy a beer?” And it never. Misses. A backbone of Maris Otter, spiked with rye and a dash of Special B for a cheeky twist, lays the groundwork for the classic hop trifecta: Citra, Ahtanum, and Centennial. Bracing bitterness squares up to the malty sweetness, while waves of pine and stone fruit crash through, capped off with a zesty orange peel finish. Reliable. Legendary. Unstoppable.

Keg at Brewdog Clerkenwell, 07/03/2025.
Hazed amber with a light beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is caramel, dried fruit rinds, biscuit malts.
Taste comprises caramel, citric tinged straw, candied orange peel, hint of bubblegum.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close peppered with mellow earthy hop bitterness.
Fine for the style.
