22oz (thx, Matt!) @ SF.
Aroma: boozy, some nutty character, a lot of barrel.
Taste: thick, a lot of wood, inky, some sweetness.
Overall: definitely good and unique.

Really black. That is one rich aroma - walnuts, deep chocolate, char, alcohol. On the palate, that's big. Boozy chocolate, rich walnuts, intense char, some tannins in the finish, a fair bit of alcohol. Holy fuck. That's something. Something amazing. That depth and richness, super concentrated char, malts, sugars.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is huge on the woody barrel, almost coming across like deep roasted nuts (walnuts especially), massive bourbon, and a touch of vanillin. Flavour is massively barrel-forward as expected, with tons of bourbon, deep wood, moderate-to-heavy roast, more of that rich walnut thing, and finishing massively woody, low on residual sugars. Wonderful complexity from the barrels.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Roasty, nutty, tobacco, barrel forward, fairly dry, decent.

22oz bottle. Pours black with a thin tan head. Ridiculous amount of woody, nutty barrels, bourbon, some black liquorice, and roasted malts on the nose. Flavour has a ton of woody barrel character, comes across a bit nutty, black liquorice, good bourbon, roasted malts. Body is appropriately thick. The barrel character here is huge, more woody and nutty than anything else, but it's been so well-incorporated into the base.
