(Bottle sample @ CBC 2016 Blue Session) Pale amber pour with a big white and and a bit of lace. Aroma and palate are pretty heavily sour and acetic, sherry vinegar-type notes, lemon juice, biscuit malt, touch of caramel, wood, hints of sweet fortified wine that try for balance but fall short. The hints of fruitiness are not quite enough to overcome the vinegar for me. Medium bodied and a touch oily, soft carbonation. It's a personal preference but I would go for less acetic acid and let the rest of the beer's qualities shine more, as I need more malt to go with vinegar.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. This one has a near clear deeper golden colored body with a small quite sidesticking and mildly lacing off-white head on the top. It has a really sharp vinegar nose this. Makes an impression that it will be quite a sour one this. Woody and a little dry caramel sweetness. Nice. It's not overly sour at all, more balanced and really refreshing. A little fruit vinegar, sticky as such. Feels nice and oily in the mouth and it's just below average on the prickling carbonation. By all means, it's quite wild and American, even a little gastric, and really good! 13.05.2016

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, deep gold with a creamy, white head. Acetic notes in the nose, berries. Light sweet flavour with assertive tangy berries, prunes, very faint toffee. Light bodied with average carbonation. More sturdy acetic bite in the finish, alongside tart berries. Punchy but nice.
