Cask (handpump) @ The Star Inn, Huddersfield, England. @ [ The Star Inn Summer Beer Festival ] [ As Hornbeam High Summer Pale Ale ]. Golden color with a thin off white head. Strange aroma of ripe fruit, wood. Sweet malt taste with very faint hops in the finish.

Cask (handpump) @ The Star Inn, Huddersfield, England. @ [ The Star Inn Summer Beer Festival ] [ As Hornbeam High Summer Pale Ale ]. Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, keller, overriped fruit, earth - woody. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090716]

Cask handpull at The Star Inn, Huddersfield. Gold, thin lasting off white head. Bit woody on aroma, bit of butter in mouth, not too hoppy on finish, more woody than anything.
