Cask (handpump) @ The Star Inn, Huddersfield, England. @ [ The Star Inn Summer Beer Festival ]. Dark red brownish collor with a mediium creamy head. Sweet aroma, caramel,dates and lots of roasted malt. Sweet roasted malt flavor.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, wood. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090716]

RBESG Sheffield 2009. Handpump at The Star Inn Summer Beer Festival, Huddersfield. Dark brown to black colour, light off white head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, light coffee, tar. Flavour is roasted malts, tar, light sourness/tartness, cream and coffee in the finish. Light bodied, no carbonation. Nice porter.
