Bottle shared by Kan, thanks! Pours black with minimal small dark brown head. Aroma is full of dark grains and very barrel forwards with bourbon notes and a bit of underlying vanilla. Flavor is very dark as well with coffee and some vanilla. The bourbon is more mellow in the flavor but it does seem to build towards the finish.

bottle, pours dark brown to black with a medium tan head. Aroma is all barrel with lots of wood and vanilla. This is so smooth and creamy. The base beer isn’t covered up lots of nice roastyness sitting next to the vanilla and bourbon/whiskey notes.

Appearance: Pours black with a small tan head leaving some lacing
Aroma: Roasted malts, bourbon, chocolate
Taste: Roasted malts, bourbon, dried chocolate, dark fruits
Silky and smooth mouthfeel. Very nice beer.

Bottle @ cgarvieuk, thanks very much for sharing! Black colour, light tan head. Aroma of deep roasted malts, bourbon and vanilla. Flavour of roasted malts, malty, slightly sour, hint of vanilla. Fairly bitter. Balanced.

bottle at home ... from DLD TJThresh if memory lasts .... deeep black ... thin tan head .... light bourbon and roast malt nose... nice port and roast malt ... too much vanilla likee many alesmith ... good roast ... toffeee ... chocolate .... quite a lot of coconut ... 3.4 ,br>TK2 the remains 2 days later ... black ... soft roast and light bourbon ... very coconut this time ... quite a lot of spirit on the tounge ... bitter chocolate in linger ... held up ok 3.1 ... but i think it was better on the day.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Clear dark brown with a tint of red and a small beige head. Distinct whiskey aroma that overpowers pretty much anything else. Solid body, hard roasted malts and sweet accents of licorice allsorts, but again everything is overpowered by the distinct Bourbon notes. Some hard roasted malts in the finish, but not really any hard roasted malts. Not much Porter left but I really dig the heavy Bourbon. 231109

practically pitch dark, but in fact dark brown. small white head. aroma is predominatly boozzy, but also shows some caramelly notes. beneath these notes i get superp marcipan and blue berries. thse suble notes hitch the aroma rate higher. flavor is blue berries, boozy, marcipan, very faint dark fruits. strong notes from the barrel aging

Bottled. A pitch black with a lazing brown head. The aroma has strong notes of chocolate, alcohol, and over ripe fruits, as well as lemon. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of dark chocolate, alcohol, over ripe fruits, and some wood, leading to a dry bitter and alcoholic finish. Nice one. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing.
