Its name "Miku" comes from the Japanese "Minori no torai", meaning "the birth of fruits", in reference to the fruity richness of its taste. Made from Koshitanrei rice from Sado Island. On the nose, this sake is distinguished by a rich tropical fruit aroma and citrus acidity. This sake is very aromatic with aroma of pear, apple, melon, flora etc…together with a powerful full-bodied mouthfeel and long aftertaste. Manotsuru MIKU Junmai Daiginjo is brewed by Koshitanrei, which is a cross-breed rice of 2 major sake rices, Yamadanishiki and Gohyakumangoku, in order to get elegant and deluxe aroma from Gohyakumangoku & power of rice from Yamadanishiki. Goes well with meat dishes such as orange duck. Rice type: Koshitanrei sake rice. Polishing ratio (seimaibuai) (精米歩合): 35%. Sake Meter Value (nihonshudo) (日本酒度): +3. Bottle size: 720 ml.
