Bottle - Vintage 2007 - Brown sugar, raisin and barrel notes. Floaties and cloudy brown with a decent brown head. Chocolate, malted milk, raisin and a really nice sweetness. Wonderful, aged well.

Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2, thank you sir! Muddy brown color, thick beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of boozy prunes and dates. Taste is sweet Christmas fruitcake and dark fruit.

750 ml bottle @ OT. Pours very hazy yellowish reddish brown with a frothy goldenish brownish beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, malty and fruity with apple pie, pears, raisins, caramel, toffee, dry wood, moist grass, prunes, biscuits, cinnamon, cardamom and hints of alcohol and cloves. Taste is slightly sweet, tiny sour and fruity with biscuits, alcohol, red apples, unripe pears, overripe peaches, wood, moist grass, cinnamon, oatmeal cookies, cardamom, rhubarb and hints of lemon juice and red wine. Mouthfeel is round, smooth, slightly dry, tiny tart and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sour, fruity and slightly tart with bread, apples, pears, grape juice, moist grass, wood, cinnamon, rhubarb and hints of cloves. Very nice!

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 1 Aug 2012) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with dried fruit, raisins and caramel. Slightly vinous. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, raisins, prunes, toasty grain and a vinous finish with a slight acidity. Almost full body, fairly sweet, with a mild spicy bitterness. Tasty and well balanced. Really nice.

2011 (March) bottle from the brewery. Pours with a hazy amber-bronze body with a large and lasting off-white to light tan head. Aromas are of alcohol, dark fruits, esters, a bit musty and cork like. Cherry, plum, fig, bready, caramel and persimmons. Flavors are sweet. Very sweet. Plum, figs, light cherry, cough syrup, bready, candied. Way too sweet. Flirting on the board of cloying. Medium to lively bubbles. Sweet and viscous.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Lactic linginberry and caramel. Tart and well rounded with fulöl body and chardonnay style vinous oakiness. Low bitterness. Absolutely lovely!

Sampled from bottle at PIB, pours murky orangey / amber / brown with a beige / tan head. Aroma of candied sugar, yeast and light caramel. Flavour of candied sugar, yeast, dark fruits and caramel - very carbonated palate with a sweet but dry finish, also with a woody, sour, metallic note. Solid.

Raisiny special B malt profile up front, some tropical fruits and vanilla, pineapple, apple. Fruitcake. But harsh and tannic toward the end. Sweetish overall. Brown hazy color.

Bottled. An unclear red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit - leaning on being over-ripe, as well as prunes and light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of fresh fruits and prunes, leading to a dry finish.
