Old backlog. Reddish amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is cherries, some funky and mild acidic tones as well. Flavour is acidic, some cherries, tart wood and mild funky tones to it. A bit on the sharp side of things, but elements for a good beer are there.

2012 vintage: Sour cherry, oak aroma. Cloudy red rust, almost no head. Sour cherry, oak, dank basement. Tangy and funky. Medium body, soft carbonation. Solid.

(2012 bottle sample @ Linköping Beer Expo 2015) Pours murky medium reddish with no head, bottle dregs in here. Aroma cassis, raspberry, strawberry, wood, lightly acetic, red wine. Palate lightly tart, lactic, oak, currants, plum, light vinegar, herbal earthy notes. Light bodied with soft carb. Elegant, fruity, a little bit earthy because of the yeast as much as the barrel I think. Really lovely stuff, it’s subtle but nice to sip and the wine grape character comes through but doesn’t overwhelm.
