After 10 years of brewing our Flagship Session IPA we thought it would be fun to crank up the hops but still preserve the drinkability of our standard Karel. So we thought of brewing an 7% Cold IPA version of our beloved Session IPA.

7/IX/24 - sampled @ BBP Wanderlust Beer Festival (Brussels), BB: n/a (2024-852) Thanks to my GBV buddies for sharing today’s beers!
Clear pale yellow blond beer, small creamy white head, a little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: floral, pretty funky, sourish impression, some tropical fruits, minty as well, a bit weird. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty watery, grains, malty, soft bitterness, floral, soapy. Aftertaste: dry, a bit grassy, malty, soft bitterness, soapy, floral, meh, not bad, but I don’t like it very much either.
