Aged in Buffalo Trace barrels for 14 months to provide the essence of whiskey, vanilla, and wood. Toasted coconut flakes add mouthfeel and impressions of sweetness reminiscent of your favorite German chocolate cake.

Espresso beans provide an added boost of flavor and the subtle use of vanilla, orange peel, and coriander add a nice touch of complexity.

The 12 oz bottle I have came from the Total Wine in the Heights a few months ago. My Great Heights snifter is in place, I tilt the bottle into the glass. Super dark brown body with a slender cover of khaki tan foam. Take a big sniff of the pour and get dark chocolate, grain and a bit of booze. I have a drink. Oh my, this is quite good, the first imperial porter for me in a long time and it was worth the wait. Very thick and very boozy, I like it. Bakers chocolate, scorched dark bread, a subtle amount of coffee, alcohol, a hint of caramel, something earthy and enough blackberries to rate a mention. Saint Arnold can kick it with their Bishop's Barrel and Divine Reserve beers, glad I got this one. Thanks Brian.
