Spiced Mango Dark Lager
Collaboration with House of Boateng
Inspired by Chef Castro’s mango hot sauce, this dark lager incorporates those flavours of fresh mango, habaneros, all-spice, cinnamon, and other warm spices to develop that “smooth reggae beat” that can be found underlying much of HOB’s cuisine.
We’re honoured to be teaming up with Castro Boateng, award-winning chef of the eponymous House of Boateng (HOB), for a series of long-table pairing dinners. To celebrate we have brewed a beer designed to reflect the wonderful food and community they have created.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazed chestnut brown with small beige head. Gentle roast with feint chilli oil and mango. Flavours hit. Would be interesting to see what food it was paired with for the event it was brewed for.

473 m can. Pours a dark brown with moderate foamy head. Aromas of all spice, hot peppers, limes and bready malts. Flavors follow same with a good dose of mango up front plus cinnamon and a little pepper heat to finish. A fun beer.
