Gebraut nach alter handwerklicher Tradition mit ausgesuchten Spezialmalzen und besten Aroma- und Edelhopfen und – wie es sich für ein Starkbier gehört – über Monate gelagert und ausgereift.

(swing top bottle) ) Clear, golden colour with a thick foamy white head. Sweet pale malty aroma with a bready and doughy touch, accompanied by traces of alcohol and a shy whiff of herbal hops far in the background. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Pale malty, slightly bready taste with notes of biscuits and honey; sweet malt-accented finish with light herbal hoppy notes. A decent pale Doppelbock, but not a world-shaking one (20.II.09).
