0,5 l swing top bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Fat clear golden in the glass, more than one finger white foamy head. Thin citrus grassy aroma. Taste has floral sweetness, grassy, little bit caramel, cheap alcoholic. Below average carbonation. Typical Heller Bock.

Many thanks to kappldav123! Grainy smooth beginning. Slightly sweetish, quite sticky body. Round and malty, a bit grainy sticky. Refreshing but sweetish sticky grainy in the end.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Lime leaves, white bread and grain all feature in the aroma and the faintly sweet taste.

"Gessner Heller Doppel-Bock", Flasche (50 cl) von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase leichte, kräuterig herbe Honigsüße, Pfirsichkonserve, zart schnapsige Note. - Antrunk breit malzsüß mit milder Honignote und feiner fruchtiger Säure, reifer Pfirsich, zarte Schärfe, fuselige Anklänge. Die dezente, an Kräutertee (Fenchel-Kamille) erinnernde Hopfung wird von der Malzigkeit erdrückt. Durchschnittlich rezent, vollmundig aber ohne die schwere Tiefe besserer Bockbiere. Im Abgang nur mild hopfenherb und zart süßsäuerlich mit leicht schnapsigen Zügen. - Etwas unrund aber durchaus trinkbar (sofern man Bockbiere mag). Und das Etikett erst!

Flasche 0,5l: Kräftiges Goldgelb, glasklar, etwas feinporiger Schaum; kräftige Würze in der Nase, Getreide, Malz, leichte Säure, etwas Süße, Röstaromen, leicht nussig, etwas helle Fruchtigkeit, leichte frische Hopfennoten; im Körper kräftige würzige Süße, Malz, Malzzucker, Karamell, Honig, cremig, deutliche Kohlensäure, leicht würzige Bitterkeit; angenehmer süßlich würziger Nachgang

Bottle, 7.5%. Malty and citric aroma. Clear yellow colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour starts off perfumy and strangely vinous. OK malty with some white head. Sweetish finish with a little cardboard and a mildly warming alcohol note. Starts off a bit strange but kind of mellows out after a glass or so.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with small white head. Faint aroma of yeast, fart and malt, wit hints of hops. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with notes of hops. Boozy hints, such that give me headaches. Estery and veggielike aftertaste. Acceptable but not my kind of beer.
