Bottled 0,33 ltr "Thomhansen Export Dunkel" (BZ, BB 04/2011)
Dark chestnut brown color, steady small beige head, some lace. Sticky coffeeish aroma, roasted coffee beans. Soft palate. Coffeish and milky flavor with some toffee and peanut butter. Harsh, coffeish-bitter finish. Lingering dark chocolate in the aftertaste. Very unconventional German dunkel.

Bottle, shared by Papsoe. It pours a clear, reddish golden body under a finger-thick, beige head. Toffee, some dried fruits and spent grains in the aroma. The flavor is on the sweet side, with toffee and some dried fruits. Some bitterness too, and unfortunately a little note of wet cardboard. Full-bodied and almost sticky sweet. Sweet, slightly bitter finish. Not my favorite one, but I think some food with it would have given a better experience. (090514)

Bottle:Hazy, ruby-amber coloured, smaller stable off-white foam; sweet dark-malty nose with a good dash of roasted malt; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; dry bitter toasty and slightly fruity finish. Not bad, a bit like a heavily diluted Stout......
