Tap at BAF. Black with dark beige head. Quite herbal, aquavit, some coffee and licorice. There’s some sweet malts and twigs. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied with slick feel. Not my thing.

Sampled from tap at Kaapse BAF 2016. Black with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, light licorice. Over medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Bakgården Både & 270516. Black colour with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, aquavit, coffee, licorice. Flavour is roasted malt, aquavit, coffee, licorice, chocolate, vanilla, booze. Full body. Very nice beer.

Black color with thick brownish head. The aroma is mild, roasty, metallic. It has a very strong body, smooth mouthfeel; the roasted malt character is not too strong; initially it strikes with a strong liquorice character, but it seems to adjust later; some dark chocolate, some saltiness, and a light spicy touch that can be the aquavit.
Harmonious, good, but overpriced.

330 ml bottle. Pots bjack with light white head. Aromas of sweet chocolate liqueur, licorice, and perfumey dark fruit. Flavors of rich dark chocolate, dry roasted malts, and salty nuts; all with a slick alcoholic sensation (Aquavit?). Super.
