Draught@Moeder Lambic, Brussels. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, citrus, yeasty and mild bready malts to it. Flavour is floral, grassy, herbal and citrusy with some mild yeast and earth to it as well. Surprisingly bodied for the quite low abv in it.

Aldred by Trou du Diable at Moeder Lambic. I wanted to try this but didn’t have a chance to go back to Montreal this summer so I was happy to find it on tap in Brussels. It’s an opaque gold with a thick foamy head. Soft wheat spicy aroma with a bunch of catpiss as well. Very prickly effervescent carbonation with an earthy pepperiness and a mildly chalky finish. The after taste is semi-bitter with a bit of wheat spiciness. Quite nice.

Pours a hazy light-yellow colour with a big frothy white head that seems to stay forever, because of the tiny bubbles that are livid. Foamy, patchy lacing. Lots of lemon notes at first in the aromas, then some nice grass comes out to end up with the Saison yeast. The mouthfeel gets pretty dry. Lots of the same for taste with loads of zest of grapefruit. I really like this refreshing, hoppy, Saison that is well blended between the yeast and hops.

Draught (4%) @ Lambic Foeder. Rated on 25.06.2015
Flsvour has resiny tones and orange. Also floury tones. Flavour has flour, orange juice and some gooseberry bush tones. Rather juicy and hoppy on both sides (if you know what I mean.) ln case this really is 4%, it hides it rather well.

Bottle: Poured a pale hay color ale with a large pure white foamy head with great retention and some good amount of lacing. Aroma of light floral hay notes with some lemony notes. Taste is dominated by light hay floral notes with some lemony notes. Body is light with great carbonation. Easily drinkability with good level of complexity.
