Very hazy golden and creamy orange coloured body with a frothy, slightly large-bubbled tan head, about two centimetres tall, that fades quickly and leavse a pretty ugly lace on the sides. Aroma of honey, alcohol, oranges, citrus fruit, flowers, grass, yeast and a bit of bread, but the hops do seem to shine last. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich citrusey, especially tangeriney flavours dominate with a strong floral and grassy bite with a ton of alpha acids from the hops with a pretty nice and balanced malt backbone and a strong bitterness at the end, but pungent throughout. Aftertaste shows the hop characteristics first, of course, with a dry bite, but the citrusey, floral and malty characteristics bring out a balanced, but strong flavour. Overall, a nice first beer from New Trail that shows the pungency nicely, while still being sweet and easy-to-drink, fruity and dry, all at the same time - hides the 9,3 per cent well! Great to sample fresh! I'll try to find more from this brewery the next time I'm in Pennsylvania. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Gettysburg Beer Mart in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on 12-May-2021 for US$4,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 01-June-2021.

1 6 ounce can. Pours a hazy orange hue with a medium white head. A big lemon and pulp nose. Rich, husky, more lemons, lighter tart oranges. Pretty smooth, a sort of orange peel finish. A bit on the green side. Solid.
