25/07/2017 - draught glass @Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Hazy yellow with big soapy white head. Nose has a bit rye, lots of sweet ripe fruits. Taste is hint of rye, ripe sweet fruits, harsh raw hops at the end.

Draft glass @ CML Original. Obv. I dig the name & label. Deep hazy orange, soapy collapsing white head. Nose is mellow white bread, rye, which I took for wheat base with some alcoholic overripe fruit & overly harsh pepper & grass hop. Taste is overly ripe fermenting stone fruit, oddly alcoholic, wheat / rye / bread, mellow fruit is far too fermenting alcoholic, raw finish overly harsh with bitter pepper, strangely boozy, all harsh finish. Good malt bodied but too much spoiled fruit, alcohol. Tastes a bit like beer back when you were young, strangely harsh, alcoholic, harsh hop but no aromatics, overly bitter, rotting fruit,… Too raw, messy not a success for me. Feels very young, maybe a touch more time or finetuning.
