750mL bottle at La Fruitière, pours a cloudy dark red rose with a small white head. Aroma is full of intense red grape skins, moderate funk, and some mustiness. Flavour is dry, musty and funky, with a wonderfully potent but dry red grape character, moderate funk, and some mustiness. Excellent.

25.08.2022: 0,75l from bottle at the Brewery. Deep red hazy color, small white head. Smells berry notes, grapes, earthy, light beetroot, light plum. Nice to very nice smell. Tastes peppery, vinous, earthy, bit citric, grassy, almost herbal. Finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of grapes, peppery and earthy notes. Not very grapes forward, but somehow this gets better and better, great lambic. Lovely

EB Quintessence Trip April 16-19. Surprisingly bland at first but given time to open up in the glass it’s marvellous!

On tap at Green Bench (Zwanze Day). Pinkish/red pour with a fleeting white head. Funk and berry bouquet. Tart with classic horse blanket lemon zest Cantillon notes that give way to marvelous vinous and barrel notes. Good body and mouthfeel. It's very nice but going side by side with '15 Saint Lamvinous this beer came up short.

Hazy, bright red to purple color and just a tiny white head. Nose of red grapes, scidic, sour. Taste follows the nose, some wood. Very nice.
