Handpull cask at the Coalheavers Arms, Peterborough. Surprised I have not had this before. Light to mid-gold, clear with an uneven white head. Very light aroma of hay and floral notes. Bittersweet taste with intense but pleasant atringency in the finish. Oily body, soft carbonation. Drinkable enough golden.

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2019. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is subdued, rustic bread, straw, damp hay, faint non descipt hop. Flavour is composed of semi crisp, dirty farmyard pale grains, straw, hay, bitter grassy hop. Harsh. Palate is grainy, ok condition. Fine.
