Wow - really really light. No head. Strange fruity aroma, tones of blueberry and banana? Very light fizzy beery soda water flavor. Off-bitter finish. No redeeming characteristics at all.

I really dislike Saranac, so this was a must try to affirm this fact. VERY light golden colour with the fastest dissolving head I could imagine. Smells of metal, ultra stale malt and absolutely no hops. Light-bodied (who would doubt that); Taste of water with a tiny bit of metal. Aftertaste shows a disgusting maltiness, almost sickening. This is most likely the worst beer i've had. If you are adament on the Atkins Diet, just drink water, and stop drinking low-carb beerwaters. Only try this if you want to experience a bad beer. I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.
