A quintessential golden ale brewed for refreshing easy drinking. Our soft Highland water allows the full floral flavour of the hops to come through the beer.

50cl bottle, BBE 12/2012. Poured clear golden with a white, lacing head. Aroma has citrusy notes and malt. Flavor is fruity and malty, citrus and some floral notes. Decent bitterness. Slightly watery, but OK body still for such low ABV. lacks the freshness the other beers have had that I have tasted from this fine brewery.

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, hazy, big and stable rocky white head, sticking to the glass, solid dry and tart grapefruity and floral hoppy nose; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, not watery, quite soft; lingering grapefruity-bitter finish. A bit harsh, but nice indeed.....

Bottled 500ml (BZ, BB 12/2012)
Clear deep golden color, small steady white head. Fruity-floral aroma. Light body but quite good for 3.8 % beer. Fruity with hints of honey. Flowery hops. Lingering soft hoppyness in the aftertaste. In the high end of bottled UK golden ales.

(bottle) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Flowery, mildly citric and delicately spicy hoppy aroma with a rounded malt presence. Bitter flavour, light bodied with a crisp mf. Dry malty base fruity and slightly herbal hops; dry and bitter finish with a very discreet and late arriving malty sweetness. A pleasant thirst quencher. 02.IX.11

Cask at the Craft Beer Co. It pours straw yellow, wit a thin foamy white head and soft carbonation. The nose is butter, white bread, grass and hay. The taste is lemon, orange, bread, decent bitterness, wood, hay, cardboard and butter, with a bitter-dry finish.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London. A golden coloured pour with a small white fluffy head. Hoppy, floral aroma. Tastes quite bitter to me, hoppy, citrus fruit. Not as good as their other fine offerings.
