A quintessential golden ale brewed for refreshing easy drinking. Our soft Highland water allows the full floral flavour of the hops to come through the beer.

Bottle. Clear, golden body, with a minimal white head. Cellar, hops, a little fruityness and some pale malt in the aroma, but not much, it is quite boring. Malt, fruit and hops in the flavor. Thin body. Quite balanced finish, but the beer is boring. It also feels like it has passed the BB-date, but there was no date on the bottle. (070621)

(Cask conditioned). Sampled at the Wear Valley CAMRA beer festival. Served at room temperature (urk!) with only the natural low carbonation - this is a light golden ale with good hops and a lovely aroma, and should be a perfect session beer when served cooler.
