Bottle 33cl. @ home.[ Trade by Yngvar ]. Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white - light grey head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, caramel, brown sugar, butter notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Okay but very sweet sugar caramel drink. [20090515]

Bottle, thx to Rune. It pours a clear, golden body with a decent off-white head. Malty nose, almost jam-like, with dried apricots, some grains and a tiny touch of dms. Too sweet on the palate, with the same jam-like thing found in the aroma. Some bitterness, but not enough to give it balance. Thin, almost sticky. Sure, it’s drinkable, not much good though, and has nothing Christmasy at all. Rating: 3-3-3-2-6-1.7. (090116)
Bottle. It pours a clear, copper body under a finger-thick, slowly collapsing off-white head. Malty on the nose, with a grainy NA-touch. Sweetish, with a little fruity touch. Quite weak. The fruity touch is borderline old strawberry jam. Thin on the palate, quite sweet malty flavor with caramel, a touch of roasted malts, a little fruity hint, and some bitterness. Sweet, short finish with appropriate bitterness. It’s a quite decent non-alcohol beer, probably the best of the Norwegian Christmas NA’s. Still, I’m not very fond of it. Rating to style would problably have doubled the score. (090327)

330 ml bottle, thanks to OleR. Amber to brown colour, moderate off-white head. Typical n/a beer aroma of over-boiled vegetables and baby porridge, but also malts and caramel. The flavour is not too sweet, moderately grainy with hints of caramel. There is a noticeable presence of herbal hops too, so for a n/a beer this one is not undrinkable when cold.

A few bottles of this non-alcoholic beer during the festive season. In the glass the beer as got a deep amber coloured body with beige patches on the surface. Smell of vegetables and grain. Slightly roasted, grainy taste partly overrun by vegetables. A few bitter endnotes. Soft carbonated. Watery texture and frail bodied. Some refreshment and tolerable sweet. Better with food, especially fish, than alone. Alright for a n/a beer [Tromsø, December 2008].
